Meet Pharmacist Lauren McQuiston

Lauren McQuiston joined Mount Horeb Family Pharmacy fueled by a deep passion for community pharmacy and building meaningful relationships. A pharmacist since 2009, Lauren brings extensive experience in retail pharmacy, transitions of care, and population health. Yet, it’s the personal connections and small-town charm of MHFP that truly captured her heart.

I love community pharmacy! I grew up in a small town and love the close knit feel of MHFP. I’m looking forward to getting to know our wonderful community.

From small-town roots to small-town pharmacy

Originally from a small town herself, Lauren moved to Wisconsin after finishing pharmacy school and now lives nearby with her husband, two kids, two dogs, and five chickens. Outside of work, she loves being active—whether that’s weight lifting, biking, hiking, kayaking, or exploring local dog parks. She’s also an avid reader, a big fan of cooking, and is always on a quest to get her family to eat more veggies (and enjoy them!).

Lauren loves the Mount Horeb community, which has welcoming people, local shops, beautiful trails, and, of course, the Uff Da pretzel at the Grumpy Troll!
