Meet Pharmacist Dave Downie

Dave joined the MHFP team in February of 2023. Although the Madison area has his heart, Dave loves traveling abroad to exotic destinations. His other interests include sports, action movies, and spending time with his dogs!

A True Wisconsinite

Born in Madison and raised in Monona, Dave has lived in the Madison area most of his life. He brought up his own kids in Stoughton and circled back to living near campus in downtown Madison. He enjoys working in Mount Horeb because the community is friendly and welcoming.

Fitness First

Dave values wellness in his daily life. Besides regular high-intensity interval training and weight-lifting workouts, he eats a low-processed carb/high protein diet. He also explores supplements that can help with longevity and well-being — which makes him a great fit at Mount Horeb Family Pharmacy.

I most enjoy giving health and fitness tips, lending some common sense knowledge when possible, and having lots of laughs with the customers and co-workers.
